T5 differential pressure sensor DPF Volkswagen original part no. 076906051A

Differential pressure sensor for the VW Bus T5 and the Volkswagen models listed below with a diesel engine and diesel particle filter. The Volkswagen original part has the reference number 076 906 051A and does not need to be programmed or coded. The pressure transmitter has a 3-pin connection, is screwed and is easy to assemble. In the event of a drop in performance or a flashing engine check lamp, this component is often not in order, so replacing it is cheap and the search for a solution is often complete. The differential pressure sensor fulfills the following tasks: Filter condition monitoring: The sensor measures the pressure difference before and after the DPF. An increased pressure difference indicates that the DPF is clogged or partially clogged as flow through the filter is restricted by the accumulated particulates.

Regeneration support: When the sensor detects that the DPF has reached a certain level of saturation, it can inform the engine control unit, which then initiates the DPF regeneration phase. During this phase, the exhaust gas temperature is increased in order to burn off the accumulated particles in the filter and thus clean it. Error detection: If the differential pressure becomes too high and the regeneration is not successful or other problems occur, the sensor can inform the engine control unit. This can cause a warning light to illuminate on the dashboard, alerting the driver that there is a problem with the DPF.

A faulty differential pressure sensor can send incorrect information to the engine control unit, resulting in unnecessary regeneration cycles, reduced engine performance, or other problems. If you suspect something is wrong with the DPF or the differential pressure sensor, it is important to have it checked by a professional.

The pressure sensor also fits in the following Audi and VW vehicles: Volkswagen Caddy Crafter Eos Golf V Golf VI Golf Plus Passat B6 Sharan Tiguan Touran Touareg Transporter T5 Audi A3 A4 A6
