Where the heating cables exit the chassis, these rubber seals or sleeves are located. They prevent moisture and dirt from penetrating between the cable and the metal pipe. If the cable is stuck in the metal pipe, take a solid piece of wire, mount it in the drill head of the drill and try to release the pipe again. In the absence of this seal, sooner or later, you will face rusty cables, so check the condition of the seals at each major inspection and replace them if cracks appear.
