Comfortable temperatures inside your motorhome
The Quipon AIR Light 2650 inverter roof-mounted air conditioner provides powerful cooling on hot summer days and additional heating during cooler transitional periods. It offers a nominal cooling capacity of 2,650 W and a heating capacity of 2,500 W.
Modern inverter technology adjusts the compressor output to the actual demand. This maintains a more consistent temperature without the unit repeatedly switching on and off at full power, providing comfortable and efficient operation.
The air conditioner is supplied as a complete set including the white roof unit, matching white internal air distribution unit and remote control.
Slim internal air distribution unit
The internal air distribution unit is only 4.9 cm high, so it takes up very little headroom. Its large air outlets distribute the cooled or heated air throughout the vehicle.
The system can be operated using either the touch control panel on the internal unit or the supplied remote control.
Cooling, heating and dehumidification
In addition to cooling, the Quipon AIR Light 2650 features a heating function for comfortably warming the vehicle during cooler weather.
The system also removes moisture from the air during cooling. An integrated air filter helps capture dust and other airborne particles.
Please note: The heating function is mainly intended for use during transitional weather and does not replace a permanently installed motorhome heater at low outside temperatures.
Suitable for larger motorhomes and caravans
The high cooling capacity makes the Quipon AIR Light 2650 particularly suitable for larger recreational vehicles up to approximately 8 metres long, including:
Karmann Colorado models based on the VW T4 and VW T5
Karmann Gipsy and Cheetah models based on the VW T3 and VW T4
comparable coachbuilt and low-profile motorhomes
motorhomes with a fixed high roof or sandwich-panel body
suitable fixed high-roof and special conversions based on the VW T25, T4, T5 and T6
caravans up to approximately 8 metres long
These vehicle examples do not constitute a general installation approval. The roof construction, permitted roof load, available installation area and roof thickness must be checked before purchase.
Due to its size and weight, this roof-mounted air conditioner is generally not suitable for VW campervans with a pop-top roof.

Important information about the power supply
The Quipon AIR Light 2650 is a 230 V roof-mounted air conditioner and cannot be connected directly to a 12 or 24 V electrical system.
An adequately protected campsite hook-up is normally required. If the campsite connection is protected by only a 6 A circuit breaker, very little capacity remains for other electrical appliances while the air conditioner is running.
Off-grid operation is only possible with a sufficiently powerful pure sine wave inverter, a suitably large battery bank and correctly rated cables and circuit protection.
Installation information
Before installation, check the vehicle for:
sufficient roof strength
permitted roof load and gross vehicle weight
a sufficiently large and level installation area
roof thickness between 30 and 80 mm
a clear 400 × 400 mm roof opening
roof supports, cables and other concealed components
sufficient clearance from solar panels, rooflights and antennas
the additional vehicle height of approximately 28.3 cm
An existing 400 × 400 mm rooflight opening may be suitable, provided that the roof construction, load capacity and available space meet the installation requirements.
Installation and electrical connection should be carried out by a suitably qualified workshop. Depending on the roof construction, an additional reinforcement or installation frame may be required.
