The BRUNNER Comet tailgate tent is a practical extension for your VW T5 or T6 whenever you need a little more space while travelling. Whether on a campsite, weekend trip, by the lake or on a longer journey, the tent is attached directly to the rear of the vehicle and quickly creates a sheltered additional room.
Set-up is particularly simple. The Comet is placed over the opened tailgate of your VW bus and secured in position. No additional frame is required. This keeps the pack size compact and makes assembly quick and convenient, especially when you arrive late and just want to set up without a tent-pole puzzle.
With dimensions of approx. 200 x 200 cm and a height of approx. 205 cm, the tent creates a spacious rear area. It can be used for cooking, changing clothes, storing bicycles, camping furniture or equipment. It can also serve as an additional sleeping or living area.
The two large entrance doors provide good ventilation and a pleasant interior climate. Permanent ventilation supports air circulation, while the integrated canopy offers additional weather protection at the entrance area.
The outer material is made from 100% polyester 150D Oxford with PU coating. With a hydrostatic head of 3,000 mm, the tent is well suited for typical camping use.
