caused by the gasket, but covers can become twisted
and no longer sit correctly on the head.
If this is the case, a new rocker cover can be a quick, simple fix.
Sold as singles these pressed steel rocker covers fit the
1700, 1800 and 2000cc Type 4 engine as fitted to the
VW T2 Bay from 1971 to 1979 and the
2000cc Aircooled VW T25 from 1979 to 1983
